Blessed O
death, where
is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. --1 Corinthians 15:55-57 |

Sorrow and sighing will soon flee away When we behold Christ's glory on that day. Into our hearts God shines His truth and grace. We see God's glory in our Savior's face. Christ's touch can make the leper whole again. He's ransomed us from Satan and from sin. Washed in His blood, we're sanctified and blessed. We're born anew, clothed in Christ's righteousness. Christ speaks a word. The wind and waves obey. At His command, the devils flee away. This fallen world Christ Jesus will make whole. Come troubled sinner, find rest for your soul. Christ has all pow'r in heaven and on earth. Our risen Savior gives us a new birth. Though outwardly, our bodies waste away, Inwardly Christ renews us day by day. God, rich in mercy, saw us dead in sin And sent His Son who gives us life within. Christ shall return, our bodies shall be raised. Creation's groaning shall be turned to praise!
